Rooted in the Cleveland community and driven by a passion for player development, Cleveland Flames FC provides young athletes with the coaching, competition, and support they need to succeed on and off the field.
From first competitive experiences to Tennessee State League play, we help players develop the skills, confidence, and character needed to reach their full potential.
Our Story So Far…
Cleveland Flames Futbol Club traces its roots to the Greater Cleveland Soccer Association, an organization that has served players and families throughout Bradley County and Southeast Tennessee for generations.
What began as a community-driven effort to create opportunities for local athletes has grown into a respected youth soccer club dedicated to player development, competitive excellence, and community impact. Through every stage of that journey, our commitment has remained the same: providing young players with a positive environment to learn, compete, and grow.
Throughout its history, the club has remained committed to providing opportunities for players of all ages while fostering a love for the game, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Today, Cleveland Flames FC builds on that proud tradition by combining strong community values with a modern player development pathway. From Jr. Academy foundations to Tennessee State League competition, we are committed to helping players develop the skills, confidence, character, and love for the game that will serve them both on and off the field.

A Clear Development Pathway
Player development is a journey, and every stage matters. Our development pathway is designed to meet players where they are, challenge them appropriately, and prepare them for the next step in their soccer journey. From building technical foundations in the Jr. Academy to competing at higher levels in the Sr. Academy and Tennessee State League, each phase is intentionally structured to support long-term growth and success.
U8–U10
Passion Phase
Building confidence, ball mastery, creativity, and enjoyment of the game in a fun, player-first environment in Cleveland, Tennessee.
U11–U12
Development Phase
Strengthening technical consistency, decision-making, and understanding of team play and the habits required for competitive soccer.
U13–U14
Competitive Phase
Introducing advanced tactical concepts, positional understanding, and the increased game speed required for higher-level competition.
U15–U19
Performance Phase
Preparing players for Tennessee State League competition, leadership roles, showcases, and their future soccer opportunities.
